International Women’s Day Event 2015
WE aim to celebrate the courage of women who have chosen to move forward in their lives. WE aim for equal recognition of stay at home moms. WE pledge to spread awareness of your successes in life, achieving your goals and dreams.

WEConnect is all about Women’s Empowerment. We love giving back to the community on every occasion we have the opportunity. There are many disadvantaged women around the world who aren’t given the same opportunities as men purely due to the face that they are women. This label often connotes weakness in many cultures and societies. We are here to remind people that women are strong, independent, and powerful. They are able to take control of their lives and sustain themselves. WEConnect programs for International Women’s Day are held every year. On this day, we strive to bring women together, educate them, treat them, and pamper them. The focus of our events in the past has been to celebrate, and inspire with our services to senior citizens and women facing challenges. Our staff and volunteers serve with compassion and kindness.
In 2015, WEConnect in Collaboration with Herbal Queen Shahnaz Husain celebrated International Women’s Day and month-long activities were concluded at Dufferin Clark Community Centre. For WEConnect women and volunteers, each day of March had been a day to celebrate, inspire, and render dedicated services to seniors and women facing challenges. The focus of the day was educating women on the importance of radiating beauty from within by adapting yoga and meditation, natural healing, and relaxing facials that would allow on their own individual being.
